We don't pretend a person is involved
This is an AI translation service. We tell you plainly, not in fine print.
Method
This is an AI-only translation service, full stop. There is no human translator working on your text before you see it. What we bring is careful engineering behind the model, a transparent process, and a review desk that puts you in charge of the final result.
Stage by stage
The document is split into blocks that respect paragraph boundaries — never a sentence cut in half — and the chapter structure is detected on the source, before translation begins.
You choose the style and the conventions: forms of address, how direct speech is marked, treatment of proper nouns. The glossary you supply becomes binding across the whole text.
Each block is translated with the tail of the previous one in view. This is what holds a long volume together: without it, a character's way of speaking drifts halfway through the book.
The system flags anomalous blocks — output too short against the source, untranslated fragments, repetitions — before you even open the review desk.
Every block is ready to read next to its source in your account, flagged passages included. Approve it as it is, or rewrite it yourself — the choice is entirely yours. If you enable the optional AI second pass (+50%), you'll also see suggested improvements with the reason behind each one, ready to accept or reject.
Chapters return to the document as navigable headings, with page breaks in the right places. Download in Word, plain text or Markdown, on your own schedule.
A deliberate choice
Your text is used for exactly one purpose: producing your translation. It is never used to train any model.
For an unpublished manuscript, a book under contract, or a confidential document, this is often the reason clients choose a policy-based commitment over a subscription service with vague data terms. Full details, including how long data is kept and your rights over it, are in our privacy policy.
Being straight about limits
This is an AI translation service. We tell you plainly, not in fine print.
Not to improve our own models, not to improve anyone else's. Ever.
For pairs or fields outside our reach we say so, and point you elsewhere where we can.
Common questions
Yes, entirely. There is no human translator or editor working on your text before you see it. The models we use are selected and tuned specifically because they perform best at translation tasks, and every block is ready for you to check and edit yourself in your account before you download anything.
No, never. Your text is processed to produce your translation and for no other purpose. It is not used to train our models or anyone else's. See our privacy policy for the full detail.
Standard, Premium and Best Seller each run models chosen specifically for translation quality — not a general-purpose chatbot repurposed for the job. Premium is tuned for literary nuance, complex registers and dialogue, and Best Seller, the highest quality level, goes further still: the closest attention to style, register and nuance, the nearest thing to a professional editorial translation. You can judge it yourself: the first 1,000 words are free, on your own text.

Translation runs in real time: blocks typically appear within moments, so you can start reviewing before the whole document is finished. If you switch on Batch mode to cut the cost in half, processing can take up to 24 hours — often much less — because it's queued with the underlying provider rather than run immediately.
Once you register, you can translate up to 1,000 words at no cost and with no payment details required. It's there so you can judge the quality on your own text before deciding whether to top up credits.
Yes. From your account you see live, block-by-block progress and can start reading and editing completed blocks immediately — you don't need to wait for the whole document before reviewing the first chapter.
It is an optional second review carried out by AI once the translation is complete. It identifies passages where a better solution exists, proposes the alternative and explains why it is an improvement. You accept or reject each suggestion, so your text only changes when you decide it should. The second pass adds 50% to the translation cost; manual review remains included in every tier at no extra cost.
